Although Namibian trivia is fascinating, this is an excuse to encourage the use of the comment feature on this blog. Frankie Fredricks won the silver medal in the 100 and 200 meter races at the 1992 Summer Games in Barcelona and the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.
Namibia has the lowest population density of all African countries if you don't count Western Sahara as in independent country.
The only natural, permanent bodies of water in Namibia are the Okavango River on the borders with Angola in the north and Orange River on the border with South Africa in the south.
